Christmas Letters to Prisoners

The abroad copied letters have already been checked and sent out to prisons in Zambia, Turkey, Spain and America. Two prisons in this Country have asked for additional letters in Polish.

The remaining letters for the UK are all packed and ready for posting shortly. This year 12.000 letters in total will have been sent out.

Please pray that each letter will be blessed by the Holy Spirit as the Chaplains distribute them to the Officers and prisoners and they will be read and many will come to know and trust the Saviour for themselves.

If anyone feels the Lord is calling them to be part of this vital work whether composing original letters, copying them or occasionally helping in the office please see me for more information.

Christmas Post Box

The Christmas Post Box will again be available this year for cards to be collected and sorted only for those who attend the church and are able to collect their own cards. Please do not include cards for those who are not able to collect them personally as they will NOT be passed on. Cards posted in the box in the Malvern Hall by Wednesday 19th December will be available for collection on Sunday 23rd December, when we will hold our Carol Service. Alternatively, if you wish to send Christmas greetings to the fellowship as a whole, you may put a card on the noticeboard in the foyer.

Carol singing – Friday 21st December

We will be having a special Open Door session on Friday 21st December with Carol singing to the local community. Please would you join us for this joyful event. It would be lovely if we could have a good number of people from the church. We will sing traditional carols for about an hour and offer tracts and seasonal refreshments to the passers-by and also invite them to the Carol Service. Open Door starts at 10.30am and finishes at 12pm. Please let me know if you would like to come and for any further questions. EVERYONE IS WELCOME                                    Abigail

Christmas is coming …. ! Just a reminder as you are thinking of suitable presents for family members or friends attending our church, that we do have Book room Vouchers available for £5, £10 and £20. So you can let them choose their own book and profit from the wide range of Bibles, Bible Atlases, Biographies, Missionary exploits, Bible commentaries, books to defend the Christian Faith, and Children’s books. We sell cards including Christmas cards and items to support the Leprosy Mission. Why not make a visit to see and promote ‘Reading Christians – who are ‘Growing Christians’.
