June Pacey

June Pacey, who attended here some years ago with her children, passed away

on 18th September. The funeral will be held here on Thursday 25th October at

2pm, to be conducted by Peter Dunn, with Francis Bates, a former Pastor's

Assistant, preaching.

Christian Institute

Please join in Christian lnstitute's Week of Prayer remembering:

Sunday 21st: Our Schools - Christian teachers, parents and pupils on the front

line of a secular onslaught.

Monday 22nd: Our Families - the married family is the primary institution for a

healthy society.

Tuesday 23rd: Our Society .-. liberal thinking on moral issues is displacing

Christian values which have so blessed our nation.

Wednesday 24th: Our Children - today's children are being confronted with

adult issues before they are ready.

Thursday 25th: Our Leaders - Christians are commanded to prayfor kings and

all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet lu'e, godly

and dignified in every way.

Friday 26th: Our Religious Freedom .- in the UK we enjoy many freedoms to

express our Christian faith, we should give thanks but not take them for granted.

Saturday 27th: The Christian Institute values our prayers for the staff and work.

Holiday Bible Club

Holiday Bible Club will be taking place from 9am - 12:30pm on the 18th - 22nd February 2019. Volunteers are needed and much appreciated, whether you can volunteer to help on all of the days or only for some days all will be welcomed. If you would like to volunteer, please speak to William.

Bible By The Beach

Bible By The Beach is a Bible-based conference to be held in Eastbourne from 3rd-6th May 2019 with the theme AMAZED – Sin, Grace and an Amazing God. As well as preaching and seminar sessions, there is a full children’s and youth programme, an extensive bookstall and exhibition area. Booking is now open and if you would like to book through the Church’s group booking facility, or would like further details, please see Geraldine Dunn.
